90 ball Bingo is quite different. Instead of the 5 line by 5 line card set up of 75 ball Bingo, 90 ball Bingo has a 9 line by 3 line card. In 75 ball Bingo, the winner is the person who fills up a line or segment of their card, whether it’s vertically, horizontally, or all four corners. That winner gets the whole pot. In 90 ball Bingo, there are three winners, and the pot gets divided between them. The first person to fill up the first horizontal line of their card receives 15%, the second person then needs to fill up the first and second horizontal lines of their card before receiving 25%, and then the third winner, who receives 60% of the winnings, has to fill up all three horizontal lines.
The differences between 75 ball and 90 ball Bingo are extreme. While the game is played in a similar fashion – the numbers being called that have to be matched up to the players game cards – the cards themselves and the methods of winnings are quite different between 75 ball and 90 ball Bingo.
